Ortus Recruitment is working with a fantastic Primary School, in the heart of Thornton Heath who are on the hunt for a Teaching Assistants to start ASAP. This is a long-term & full-time role set to continue for the entire academic year.

The role will involve primarily supporting SEN on a 1:1 basis, as well as supporting across the class while your key child is on task. As such the successful candidate will need to be capable across the primary curriculum and also comfortable supporting SEN – both Learning Difficulties and Behavioural need.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Teaching Assistant
• Supporting children across KS2
• General classroom support
• Working with a range of mild SEN: Autism, ADHD and Dyslexia
• £80 – £95 per day – PAYE Payments (No Umbrella Company Fees!)
• Full Time
• ASAP start – Long Term Supply
• Located in the London Borough of Croydon

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

• Experience around children.
• Strong academic background.
• Confidence with the primary curriculum.
• You must have a clear passion for education and children.
• Strong communication skills.
• Comfortable supporting SEN.
