Ortus Recruitment has an exciting opportunity available for a full-time graduate Teaching Assistant to join an Outstanding primary school in Merton.

The position will be from 8:30-4pm Monday to Friday and ideally, they are seeking a graduate who holds a keen interest in gaining classroom-based experience. Suitable for a graduate looking to join the support staff team and work alongside teachers to develop your skills and experience.

This is a great way to gain invaluable school-based experience that will stand you in good stead for when you begin teacher training. Each year this excellent primary school looks to take on a small number of graduates who are eager to develop their experience in a school setting ahead of commencing teacher training.

You will join an Outstanding Ofsted rated school and they offer full support and guidance, and you will work with similar minded staff and able to rely on an excellent support network and training.

You Must:

• Hold right to work in the UK
• Hold a fully enhanced DBS on the update service – if you do not possess a current DBS you will have to process a new application (we can help guide you through the process if necessary)
• Provide recent and relevant references
• Available to work full-time
