Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join the school’s dynamic teaching team. The successful candidate will support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging and challenging lessons, while ensuring the well-being and progress of all students.

Graduate Year 6 Teaching Assistant Requirements:

• Hold a level 3 teaching qualification or be degree educated
• Previous experience in a primary school with excellent knowledge of the curriculum (desirable)
• Prior experience working with children
• SEN experience (desirable)
• Friendly, empathetic and motivating
• Attentive to needs of pupils
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills

The school is located close by to a parade of shops which include a cafe and post office. There is parking availble on site.

Graduate Year 6 Teaching Assistant must:

• Have proof of right to work in the UK
• Be able to provide 2 references
• Possess an enhanced DBS on the Update Service/ be willing to apply for one
