Position: Full-Time Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Stockwell, Southwest London
Hours: Full-Time (08:30am – 16:00pm)

Ortus Recruitment is looking for a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a vibrant primary school in Stockwell. This full-time position offers the chance to inspire and support young learners in their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the class teacher in planning and preparing engaging activities.
• Provide targeted support to individual students or small groups.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
• Collaborate with colleagues to assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.

Requirements:

• HLTA qualification.
• Strong knowledge of phonics schemes and best practices.
• Recent references, including experience working with children in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.
