We are looking to speak to individuals who would be interested in becoming a Intervention Teaching Assistant in a Wandsworth based mainstream primary school.

This role involves running small group sessions throughout the day for children in both KS1 and Lower KS2. The ideal candidate would be confident in delivering interventions based on phonics and maths, with the opportunity to be trained in more specific interventions, such as Speech and Language. 

Candidate Specification

-A graduate from one of the UK’s Top 30 Universities
-Experience of working with children (desired but not essential)
-Aspirations to become a fully qualified Primary School Teacher

This Primary School in Wandsworth are supportive of progression within the Education sector and are willing to discuss opportunities to support excellent Graduates in their future Teacher training.

Job Specification:

-Long term contract starting in September 2024 until the end of the academic year | Potential for further employment
-£85-100 per day (inclusive of Holiday Pay) | PAYE (No Umbrella Companies)
-Intervention Teaching Assistant running a range of group sessions | KS1 & Lower KS2
-Hours required: 8:30am-4:00pm – Monday to Friday
