Key Stage 1 | General Teaching Assistant | Barnet

Ortus Recruitment are looking for a General Teaching Assistant for a 3 form entry Primary School in The London Borough of Camden. The school is well located; near cafes, shops and is local to public transportation. This Ofsted rated ‘Good’ School offers modern facilities, and has a knowledgeable and welcoming leadership team to support you in your role.

Your day to day will involve aiding the Teacher in the planning, preparation and delivery of lessons, holding one-to-one sessions and small group interventions when required, marking homework and supporting pupils with low-attainment levels in literacy and numeracy.

The ideal Candidate:

• Will have an adaptable and positive attitude
• Will have a relevant level 3 qualification
• Have 3 months classroom experience
• Be passionate about working with children
• Have a degree from a core/ relevant subject i.e.; English/ Psychology (Desirable)
