Key Stage 1 Learning Support Assistant | Full-Time | September Start | Hounslow | 1:1 SEN Support

Ortus Recruitment is excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join a friendly primary school based in Hounslow. This full-time role, starting in September, involves providing 1:1 support for a Key Stage 1 student with special educational needs (SEN), helping them to thrive academically and socially within the classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer personalized 1:1 support to a KS1 student with SEN, adapting resources and strategies to meet their unique needs
• Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons that are accessible and engaging for all students
• Conduct small group interventions focusing on literacy, numeracy, and social skills
• Build strong, supportive relationships with the student to promote confidence and independence
• Collaborate closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to monitor the student’s progress and adjust support strategies as needed
