An inclusive school in South Croydon is looking for a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work with their Key Stage 2 cohort, providing essential support to children with diverse needs.

The Role:
In this position, you’ll collaborate closely with the class teacher and SENCO to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment for all pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils with SEN, including ADHD or dyslexia, through individual and group sessions.
• Assist in creating and delivering tailored interventions that meet the specific needs of pupils.
• Help maintain an engaging and structured classroom environment.
• Monitor pupils’ progress and provide regular updates to the class teacher and SENCO.
• Encourage the development of positive social skills and self-esteem in the classroom setting.

About You:

• Experience supporting SEN pupils, particularly in Key Stage 2.
• Proactive and empathetic, with a passion for pupil development and inclusion.
• Strong organisational skills and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment.
• Experience with educational tools such as visual aids, sensory materials, or behaviour management strategies is a plus.
