Our client school in Iver Village (Buckinghamshire) of is seeking to recruit a dedicated, enthusiastic and resilient individual to support a Key Stage 2 class which includes pupils with Autism.
The role:
The role involves supporting the class teacher with lesson planning, marking classwork and putting up displays. You will also help children improve their literacy and numeracy level through interventions.

Situated in a beautiful Village, the school is a short walk away from independent shops, cafes and restaurants. There is plenty of off street parking close by.

The Teaching Assistant will be responsible for offering support by communicating effectively with parents/carers and working with the SENCo to ensure all children can access the curriculum regardless of disadvantages or additional needs.
Main Expectations:
- 3+ months KS2 experience supporting children with additional needs
- Minimum teaching qualification or be degree educated
- Must be able to provide: an enhanced DBS (or willing to apply for one through Ortus Recruitment), proof of Right to Work in the UK and 2 references
- Have a can-do attitude and passion for supporting SEN children
