Ortus Recruitment is excited to present an opportunity for a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Heston. This full-time role, beginning in September, focuses on providing vital 1:1 support to a Year 4 student with special educational needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer tailored 1:1 support to a Year 4 student with SEN, adapting to their individual learning needs
• Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
• Lead small group interventions to reinforce literacy and numeracy skills
• Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment to enhance the student’s social and academic development
• Monitor the student’s progress, adjusting support strategies as necessary and reporting back to the SENCO and parents
