This mainstream, inclusive Primary School is looking for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, who is proactive, resilient and dedicated to supporting children with additional needs and challenging behaviour to work with a child who has been diagnosed with autism.

**Candidates must be able to commit to a long-term and full-time role (Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 3:30pm)**

Main Responsibilities:

• Ability to take initiative, be enthusiastic and resilient
• Work alongside class teachers to manage classroom behaviour, keep classrooms organised and liaise with parents/carers
• Lead numeracy, phonics and literacy interventions in small groups to raise low attainment levels
• Work on a 1:1 basis with a child diagnosed with ASD to aid in their social, emotional and acedemic development
