Ortus Recruitment is looking for a Behaviour Mentor to work with a child in KS2 in a mainstream school located in the diverse area of Southgate, London Borough of Enfield. The school has great transport links both bus and train and is known for having a variety of restaurants close by.

What are your key Responsibilities:

• Promote social-emotional development with 1:1 student mentoring.
• Foster a self-regulating environment, teaching students the skills they need.
• Design and implement bespoke behaviour plans.
• Implement long-term strategies in the classroom to contribute to a positive learning environment.
• Assisting students mainly with literacy and numeracy

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3-6 months of experience working with primary-age students
• A passion and enthusiasm for working with SEN students
• An enhance DBS
• Needs to have a firm but fair approach
