We are currently looking for a KS1 Classroom Assistant to provide support in our client primary school in Brent .

Overview:
A lovely, mainstream Primary School located in Brent, are seeking a Classroom Assistant to join their KS1 team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and supporting their educational development.

Responsibilities:
– Assist the teacher in delivering educational activities to children
– Support children’s learning by providing 1:1 specialised support
– Communicate effectively with both children and teaching staff
– Provide care and supervision to children in the classroom
– Provide additional support to children with autism or other special educational needs
– Assist in creating a safe and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications:
– Previous experience working with children is essential
– Knowledge of special education practices is advantageous
– Ability to educate and engage young learners effectively
– Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
– Understanding of child development practices
