KS1 SEN Teaching Assistant | Barnet
This mainstream, inclusive Primary School is looking for a KS1 SEN Teaching Assistant, who is proactive, encouraging and enthusiastic to support amongst their EYFS and KS1 classrooms, aiding the classroom teacher and supporting children with additional needs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ability to take initiative, be enthusiastic and resilient
- Work alongside class teachers to manage classroom behaviour, keep classrooms organised and liaise with parents/carers
- Lead numeracy, phonics and literacy interventions in small groups to raise low attainment levels
- Engage pupils with the EYFS and KS1 curriculum
