Currently, we are recruiting for a recent graduate or experienced educator to work within one of our Barnet schools as a KS1 Teaching Assistant.

The successful candidate will work within the KS1 team to support learning, teaching and the social and emotional development of pupils in the classroom. As a KS1 Teaching Assistant, you will assist and support teachers and key workers in the planning and delivery of lessons, providing individual and small group support and activities to meet the needs of the pupils.

You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for working with children. You will have a good understanding of the KS1 curriculum, be able to manage behaviour and be committed to meeting the needs of all pupils. This will involve supporting SEN children on a 1:1 basis to aid in their social and emotional development and raise attainment.
