Ortus Recruitment is working with a mainstream primary school in Southfields to recruit an experienced Classroom Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. The school has an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted report, and this is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a degree and experience working with children to take on a challenging and rewarding role.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a degree in Maths, English, Sciences, Psychology, Education, Drama, or Performing Arts (other degrees or relevant qualifications will also be considered)
• Have experience working with children/young people in a professional environment, such as youth work, mentoring, tutoring, childcare, or volunteering
• Be friendly, confident, outgoing, reliable, and a positive role model
• Have a genuine interest and passion for supporting young vulnerable pupils
• Be available full-time (Monday – Friday, 8.30 am – 4 pm)
