Ortus Recruitment is seeking a passionate teaching assistant to work in one of our mainstream primary schools in the vibrant area of Ealing Broadway, London. The school is just a stone throw away from Ealing Broadway station and has many forms of transportation. It has many great cafes and restaurants with a range of cuisines.

The school is a diverse school who are very welcoming and willing to assist the new TA to join their lovely team and work with Year 2!

The role:

• Assisting the class teacher
• Preparing the class
• Assisting children who need additional help
• Running group and one-to-one interventions
• Supporting children who may have SEN such as ASD, ADHD, and dyslexia
• Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM

To excel in this position, the following requirements are essential:

• Valid DBS on the Update Service or Willingness to Apply: Candidates must either possess a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate on the update service or be prepared to apply for one.
• Proactive Nature: The ideal candidate should be proactive in their approach, taking the initiative to support the child’s learning and well-being.
• Ability to Follow Instructions: Candidates need to demonstrate their capability to follow instructions effectively, ensuring consistency and reliability in their support role.
