KS1 Teaching Assistant

We are working with a welcoming primary school in Ealing Broadway who are seeking a committed KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role involves providing tailored support to children with Autism (ASC), ADHD, Behavioural Needs and SEMH, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their potential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
  • Assist with learning activities, communication, and social development
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver individual learning plans
  • Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence
  • Support the wider classroom environment where required

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN, particularly Autism and SEMH
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting children’s needs
  • A genuine interest in education and supporting pupil progress
  • Right to work in the UK is essential
