Ortus Recruitment is seeking an energetic Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant for a full-time and long-term opportunity in a friendly primary school in East Croydon.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting teaching and learning in the classroom
• Working with small groups and providing 1:1 support
• Helping students with their learning and progress
• Clear communication with teachers and other staff

Requirements:

• Experience working with primary-aged children, particularly in Key Stage 1
• A passion for education and a commitment to student success
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of supporting students with SEN is a plus

The school is a 1-form entry primary school with good facilities and a supportive leadership team. The successful candidate will be part of a team of experienced Teaching Assistants and will receive a competitive pay rate of £76 – £90 per day (PAYE).
