Ortus Recruitment is working with a client based primary school in the Morden borough who are seeking for a new full-time Teaching Assistant.

This school is well known for their fantastic work environment with a friendly, welcoming team of staff who always aim to ensure pupils are performing to the highest standards across the primary curriculum.

As this Primary School grows, they are looking for an inspiring talented KS1 Teaching Assistant, that is available to work full time. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children aged between 5 and 7, your role will include supporting children’s learning in groups & on a 1:1 basis, undertaking playground duties, preparing resources, and assisting the class teacher.

The Successful Applicant Will:

· Be resourceful and enthusiastic.

· Support the teacher to ensure children make excellent progress.

· Degree educated.

· Have experience working with children.

· Have SEN experience (preferred).

· Clear spoken and written communicator.

· Ability to work on a 1:1 basis.

· Available to work full-time.

You Must:

· Be eligible to work in the UK.

· Have a full valid DBS – if you do not possess a current DBS you will need to apply, and we can help guide you through the process if needed.

· Provide recent and relevant references.
