About the role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups with children in Year 6 to manage behaviour in a mainstream school, lead interventions, and provide additional support to academic, social, and emotional development.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with SEN children.

Learning Support Assistant Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related qualification (desirable)
• Must have experience working with SEN – Autism, ADHD and SEMH
• Must have experience working in a classroom setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices
• Able to use initiative and follow instructions
