Ortus Recruitment are excited to present the opportunity for a resilient and motivated individual to take on the fulfilling role of KS2 Teaching Assistant to support in a Year 3 class in an inclusive Primary school in the London Borough of Brent.

**Candidates must be able to commit to a long-term and full-time role (Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 3:30pm)**

About the role:

• Have a enthusiastic and dynamic approach to teaching
• Have a can-do attitude
• Lead 1:1 and small group interventions i.e. numeracy and literacy
• Encourage participation from SEN pupil and support where necessary to overcome learning barriers
• Strong communication skills to liaise with parents and assist class teacher effectively

The ideal candidate will have:

• The ability to work in a team but also take initiative when needed
• Excellent time management and attendance
• Experience working in a classroom setting
• Minimum 2:2 degree or Level 3 qualification
• A can-do attitude
• an enhanced DBS (or willing to apply for one through Ortus Recruitment), proof of Right to Work in the UK and 2 references
