KS2 Teaching Assistant
Ortus Recruitment are looking to appoint a teaching assistant to join our partnered primary school. As a teaching assistant no day is ever the same, you will work with whole classes, small intervention groups and on a one-to-one basis to support our children to access the curriculum and get the best education possible.

Candidate Specification:
- A degree or relevant qualifications in Education, Maths, English, Sciences, Psychology, Drama, or Performing Arts or related field
- Strong understanding of working with children/ young people, e.g., Youth Work, Mentoring, Tutoring, Childcare, Voluntarily
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to undergo a full Enhanced DBS check
