Ortus Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with a vibrant and high-achieving mainstream primary school in Wandsworth, who are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their Key Stage 2 team. This full-time position offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking school where pupil progress and wellbeing are at the heart of everything they do.As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to help deliver a rich, engaging curriculum, and ensure that every child receives the support they need to succeed both academically and socially.

About the Role:

• Support pupils across Key Stage 2 with core subjects such as literacy and numeracy
• Work with small groups and individual learners to reinforce classroom learning
• Assist in planning and delivering creative and interactive activities
• Promote a positive learning environment that supports confidence and independent thinking
• Contribute to pupil assessments and liaise with teaching staff to track progress

What We’re Looking For:

• Some experience in a primary school or educational setting preferred, but not essential
• A proactive, reliable and enthusiastic individual with a genuine passion for education
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with pupils and staff
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow within the role
• Commitment to creating a safe, inclusive and motivating environment for all learners
