KS2 Teaching Assistant Wanted – Upper KS2 Focus | Immediate Start

Are you passionate about supporting children in their educational journey? Do you have experience working with upper Key Stage 2 pupils, particularly in core subjects and SATs preparation? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive school through our trusted recruitment agency.

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time | Term-time only
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide focused intervention support in English, Maths, and Science to pupils in Years 5 and 6.
• Assist with SATS preparation, boosting pupil confidence and attainment.
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support pupils with SEN and learning difficulties.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment tailored to individual needs.
• Deliver small group and one-to-one support sessions to help close learning gaps.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working in a primary school setting, ideally in Upper KS2.
• Familiarity with the KS2 curriculum and SATs expectations.
• A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach to supporting children with additional needs.
• Relevant TA qualification or equivalent experience (Level 2/3 preferred).
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
