Ortus Recruitment are working closely with a Primary School based in Croydon, who are searching for a Teaching Assistant to support in their KS2 unit.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with pupils within a classroom setting/children of the primary school age range. You will also have a great understanding of the Primary curriculum and be a clear written and spoken communicator.

This is a lovely school, well resourced and well known within the area, the staff are extremely friendly, and pupils are polite and eager to learn!

• Experience working with children of the Primary age range
• SEN Experience
• Bubbly, driven and committed
• Clear communicator
• Excellent academic background
• Willing to commit to a full-time, long-term role

The Role:

• Supporting the class Teacher plan and prepare lessons
• Support children who need academic support
• Working 1:1 with SEN pupils
• Covering small group sessions
• Helping with general admin tasks, marking, registering etc

Please note that for this role you will need to provide two recent and relevant references and hold a fully enhanced DBS on the Update Service/be willing to process a new application.
