KS2 Teaching Assistant | Dagenham

Ortus Recruitment is partnering with an “Outstanding” mainstream primary school situated in Dagenham.

The school is seeking to hire a Teaching Assistant to work within Key Stage 2, providing general support and offering one-on-one assistance to students with low academic achievement or Special Educational Needs (SEN). Some students in each class have Autism.

In this role, you will support the teacher with lesson delivery, facilitate group interventions, and participate in lunchtime activities. There are also after-school clubs to join, with overtime pay for additional hours worked.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proactive and dependable
• Passionate about supporting children
• At least 3-6 months of classroom experience (preferred)
• SEN experience (preferred)
• Holds a Level 3 teaching qualification or a degree
