Ortus Recruitment is currently seeking a highly skilled individual to join a welcoming primary school in Edmonton, located in the Borough of Enfield, North London. This school has three classes for each year group and is seeking a KS2 Teaching Assistant.

TEACHING ASSISTANT RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Employ a variety of educational techniques.
• Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem.
• Track children’s progress and report to parents.
• Collaborate with the KS2 class teacher.
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.
• Previous experience assisting pupils with literacy and Numeracy.
• Run interventions to helping them with topics they may not be good at mainly numeracy and literacy.

REQUIREMENTS:

To be considered for this role, you should meet one of the following qualifications:

Graduate in Education: A degree in Education or a related field is required.

OR

Level 3 Qualification in Teaching and Education or equivalent.
