Ortus Recruitment are working with a fantastic primary school are recruiting a Teaching assistant to work with KS2. This friendly two-form entry school is based in Hook with exceptional links to public transportation. This role will consist of working with KS2 age groups and supporting students during lesson time and at break and lunch as well.

You will be expected to be a role model for pupils, help to create a positive learning environment and foster excellent behaviour. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a friendly and supportive environment and make a real difference to the children’s learning. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with young people, a good understanding of the national curriculum and strong communication skills.

You will be aided by a lovely and supportive Senior Leadership Team, who will always be on hand. As well as this, the school offer CPD courses and training when necessary to help further your career and for those deemed most suitable, there is the opportunity to be placed on the school’s Teacher Training Programme.
