KS2 Teaching Assistant Location: Crystal Palace, London

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our KS2 team at our school in Crystal Palace, London. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the class teacher in delivering high-quality education to our KS2 students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons and managing the classroom
• Working with small groups of students or individual students to provide extra support and guidance
• Assisting with the planning and preparation of materials and resources
• Supporting the development of students’ literacy and numeracy skills
• Helping to create a positive and stimulating learning environment
• Maintaining records and monitoring students’ progress
• Communicating effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification
• Experience working with KS2 students
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work well as part of a team
• A commitment to ongoing professional development
