Ortus Recruitment are excited to present the opportunity for an passionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join the KS2 team in a diverse and inclusive primary school in Barnet.

The Teaching Assistant will provide support in a classroom setting by effectively managing behaviour, keeping the classroom organised and working on a 1:1 basis with SEN children or leading interventions in small groups to raise attainment.

The successful individual will:

-Be assertive, patient and motivating

-Manage behaviour effectively

-Promote positive social, emotional and personal development

-Have experience working with children with SEN

-Strong literacy and numeracy skills

-Good knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
