A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist school in Streatham, providing 1:1 support for a pupil with special educational needs (SEN). If you have a passion for helping children reach their full potential, this could be the role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with a specific pupil, providing both academic and emotional support.
• Help the pupil engage with tailored learning activities that match their unique needs.
• Build a strong rapport with the pupil and ensure they feel safe and supported.
• Liaise with teachers and SENCO to adapt resources and ensure inclusive learning.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children with SEN, particularly in a 1:1 setting.
• Strong understanding of various SEN needs, such as Autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties.
• Patience, resilience, and excellent communication skills.
• Commitment to creating an inclusive and positive learning environment.
• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
• Available Full Time (Monday to Friday, 08:30-16:00 TTO)
