Ortus Recruitment is looking for a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Southfields. If you have a passion for supporting children with additional learning needs, including Autism, Dyslexia, and ADHD, this role is a perfect fit for you.

You will be working with a diverse group of children, helping them access the curriculum and providing tailored support to enhance their learning experiences. You’ll be part of a team that is committed to making sure every child reaches their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to children with SEN
• Work closely with the class teacher to implement personalised learning plans
• Assist with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Support children during break times and extracurricular activities
• Help with academic tasks, from literacy to numeracy, to build confidence and skills

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with children with SEN or a strong interest in the field
• Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children and staff
• A team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment
