Ortus Recruitment is partnering with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Stockwell to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to join their Year 3 team. You will work alongside the class teacher to provide both classroom support and targeted intervention for pupils needing additional guidance with learning and behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist individual pupils and small groups with English and Maths
• Provide catch-up and intervention sessions where required
• Support pupils with concentration, confidence, and classroom participation
• Track and report progress under guidance of the teacher or SENCO
• Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in a similar LSA or classroom support role
• Confident supporting mixed-ability pupils in KS2
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills
• Ability to follow direction but also use initiative
• Enthusiastic, flexible, and committed to making a difference
