The Role

The school is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to support a Year 1 class in a general classroom capacity, while also providing 1:1 support to pupils with low attainment or mild SEN needs. Several pupils within the year group are autistic, so a patient, understanding, and nurturing approach is essential.

You will play an active role in:

• Supporting the teacher with the delivery of engaging lessons
• Leading small-group interventions
• Offering one-to-one support where needed
• Assisting with lunchtime duties and engaging pupils in meaningful play
• Getting involved in after-school clubs (overtime paid for additional hours)
