Ortus Recruitment is currently working alongside a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Peckham that is seeking a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their dedicated team. This school prides itself on creating a nurturing environment where pupils are supported both academically and emotionally.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will help ensure that all pupils, particularly those who require additional support, are able to fully participate in classroom activities and feel confident in their learning.

Your Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will support both teachers and pupils throughout the school day. Duties may include:

• Providing in-class support to pupils who require additional help with learning
• Working with small groups or individual students to reinforce lesson content
• Encouraging pupils to develop confidence, independence, and social skills
• Assisting the teacher with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
• Supporting children with special educational needs or learning difficulties
• Helping maintain a positive and engaging learning environment
