In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced teachers and other professionals to support students with special needs and ensure they have the resources they need to succeed in school. You will play a key role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students and help them overcome their learning challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery, including adapting materials to meet the needs of individual students
• Provide one-on-one support to students with special needs and help them to access the curriculum
• Help to create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers on their progress and areas for improvement

Requirements:

• Experience working as a learning support assistant or similar role
• Strong understanding of child development and learning strategies, particularly for students with special needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents
• Patience, kindness, and a passion for education
