Ortus Recruitment is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to our partnered 4 form-entry mainstream primary school located in Balham! As a Learning Support Assistant at the school, you will be working with a KS1 child with ASC, supporting them in their academic and personal development. You will be responsible for providing one-to-one support, creating and implementing personalized learning plan, and assisting with classroom management. This is a perfect opportunity for a recent graduate or a child care professional looking to work in a primary school setting.

Requirements:

• A degree or relevant qualifications in Education, Maths, English, Sciences, Psychology, Drama, or Performing Arts or related field
• Experience working with children or young adults (preferably in an social or educational setting)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for helping students achieve their full potential
