Are you a dedicated Learning Support Assistant?

Ortus Recruitment are working with an ‘Outstanding’ mainstream primary school located in Brimsdown, London Borough of Enfield .

The school are looking to employ a Teaching Assistant to support KS2 in a general capacity, as well as support students with low attainment or SEN on a one-to-one basis. There are a small number of children in each class who are Autistic.

The school, with a four-form entry, has friendly staff eagerly awaiting a new learning support assistant. This role involves working closely with classroom teachers to provide support to students. The assistant’s contribution will be vital in ensuring students’ academic and social development.

The ideal Candidate:

• Needs to be Proactive and reliable
• Passionate about working with children
• At least 3-6 months of classroom experience
• SEN experience (desirable)
• Level 3 teaching qualification or degree educated

Candidates must:

• Have an enhanced DBS on the update service/ willing to apply for a new one
• Right to work in the UK
• 2 References
