Learning Support Assistant | Barnet | £400 – £500 Weekly (PAYE)

We work with a number of schools, all rated ‘Good‘ or ‘Outstanding‘ by Ofsted, with supportive senior leadership teams and opportunities for further career progression.
Learning Support Assistant Responsibilities:
– Provide support and assistance to individuals with special educational needs
– Assist with educational activities and curriculum implementation
– Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all individuals
– Communicate effectively with children, parents, and other staff members
– Implement behaviour management strategies and techniques
– Collaborate with a team of professionals to meet the individual needs of each child
Learning Support Assistant Requirements:
– Experience working with children, particularly those with SEN
– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
– Understanding of special education principles and practices
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team
– Patience, empathy, and compassion for individuals with special needs
This position requires a strong commitment to supporting individuals with special educational needs, particularly children with autism. You will play a crucial role in providing educational support, fostering a safe environment, and promoting the overall well-being of the pupils. The ability to effectively communicate, collaborate with a team, and implement behaviour management strategies is essential.
