Role Overview:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll work alongside class teachers to support pupils with a range of educational and additional needs. You will play a key role in ensuring all students have the opportunity to access learning and develop to their full potential.

Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support
• Assist students with additional needs including SEN, SEMH, and EAL
• Help deliver tailored learning activities and interventions
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and parents/carers

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational or care setting
• A patient, compassionate, and proactive attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s development
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA, CACHE, or similar) are desirable but not essential
