Ortus recruitment are currently seeking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to work with our partnered mainstream primary schools based near Wandsworth Common. Our partnered mainstream primary school has a ‘Good’ Ofsted report and ‘loved the positivity’ around the school. The school has a very welcoming senior leadership team as well as great staff who are committed to making their pupils do well and they are ready to invite a skilled Learning Support Assistant to join their ’family’. This role will be a Full-Time position, working from Monday to Friday, 08:30am – 16:00pm.

Requirements:

• Graduate of a core subject (Maths, English, Science, Psychology, Drama)
• Experience working with children in a professional environment
• Experience working with SEN (desirable not essential)
• Able to develop positive relationships
• Excellent time management and organisation skills
• Able to stay calm and objective when presented with unusual or challenging behaviour
