LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT | FEBRUARY START
Are you a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant with a passion for helping children with autism and ADHD thrive in an educational setting?
Our partnered mainstream primary school, located in the vibrant Wandsworth area, is seeking a skilled individual to join their team and provide crucial support to students with ADHD and ASD in the school’s resource base. This position is a full-time long-term position and the school will require the candidate to be available to start in February.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree or relevant qualifications in Education, Maths, English, Sciences, Psychology, Drama, or Performing Arts or related field
- Strong understanding of working with children/ young people, e.g., Youth Work, Mentoring, Tutoring, Childcare, Voluntarily
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to undergo a full Enhanced DBS check
Please Note: We welcome applicants with degrees beyond this or relevant qualifications for working with children.
