Ortus Recruitment seeks a Learning Support Assistant in a mainstream school in Southgate, London Borough of Enfield to work with KS1 or KS2. The school is an OFSTED-rated ‘GOOD’ and has a welcoming team which are waiting for a learning support assistant to join their lovely team.

Responsibilities:

• Working closely with mentoring and supporting children who have challenging behaviour
• Preparing materials to help support students
• Being a strong and positive role model
• Supporting their studies and well-being
• Promoting positive behaviour

The requirements:

• Level 3 qualification or Higher
• Strong understanding of working with children/ young people, e.g., Youth Work, Mentoring, Tutoring, Childcare, Voluntary.
• Genuine passion and skills to make a positive impact in pupils’ day-to-day lives in school
• 3 to 6 months of experience working with challenging behaviour
• MUST BE AVAILABLE FULL TIME (Monday to Friday)
