Learning Support Assistant – Primary School
Location: Croydon
Contract: Full-time | Term-time only
Start Date: September 2025

We are currently looking for a committed and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Croydon.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping every pupil reach their full potential.

The Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Work closely with class teachers to support pupils with special educational needs (SEN)
• Provide one-to-one or small group support
• Help to implement personalised learning strategies and behaviour plans
• Encourage pupil engagement and build positive relationships
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience supporting children with SEN (in a school or similar setting)
• A calm, patient, and caring approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• A relevant qualification in education or support work (desirable but not essential)
