The candidate applying for this role should have experience working with children, specifically SEN. You should also have the ability to deal with stressful situations in a calm manner seen as this role is very challenging, however very rewarding.

The role:

• Position: Learning Support Assistant

• Full time – long term
• Immediate start
• Monday-Friday (8:30am-4:00pm)
• PAYE (£80-£90)

Job description:

• Motivating your pupils to achieve beyond their potential.
• Supporting and encouraging pupils in their schoolwork.
• Encouraging children to communicate.
• Helping children to understand instructions.
• Ensuring pupils feel comfortable and confident in their own abilities.
• Listening to children read, reading to them, and telling them stories.
• Looking after vulnerable children who require a dedicated person to manage their physical needs, including their hygiene.
