Here at Ortus Recruitment we are seeking an Unqualified Learning Support Assistant to join one of our amazing Mainstream Primary Schools in the London Borough of Kingston, Raynes Park. We need someone who is enthusiastic and passionate about working alongside children, aiding and developing their academic attainment levels.

Requirements:

• Must have a clear enhanced child workforce DBS or be willing to process one through Ortus Recruitment – £52
• Must have previous experience working alongside children in a care, residential, school or social setting
• Must be able to start immediately and commit to full time, long term
• Must be passionate about working with children and aiding their overall development.

Responsibilities:

· You will be expected to work alongside the class teacher in a year 4 class

· You will be working as a general teaching assistant, helping to manage the classroom behaviour and encourage a positive working environment

· You may be tasked with leading both 1:1 and small group interventions, working with individuals who need additional support in core subjects

· You will assist the class teacher preparing classroom resources by photocopying/laminating and updating/removing classroom displays
