A ‘Good’ Ofsted rated school based in Southfields is now looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to support a class in KS2 commencing September 2023. Our partner mainstream primary school believes in high expectations, high aspirations, high motivation and high achievement for all.

Being able to communicate effectively with children and adults is essential, together with a friendly and approachable manner. The successful candidate will be able to work using their own initiative and can demonstrate effective behaviour management skills. In return, they will join a supportive environment with plenty of development opportunities.

The Role:

• Learning Support Assistant
• Monday – Friday (No Weekends)
• Working Hours: Full Time, 08:30 – 16:00 (6.5 hrs / 30 minutes break)
• Supporting a Class in KS2
• Expected Start Date: September 2023

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree or relevant qualifications in Education, Maths, English, Sciences, Psychology, Drama, or Performing Arts or related field
• Strong understanding of working with children/ young people, e.g., Youth Work, Mentoring, Tutoring, Childcare, Voluntarily
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
