Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and making a real difference in the classroom? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Sheffield.

About the Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including those with EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans). Your role will involve:

• Providing 1:1 or small group support to pupils
• Assisting in the delivery of engaging and accessible lessons
• Supporting students with emotional, social, or behavioural challenges
• Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
• Working collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational or care setting
• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
• A strong team player with excellent communication skills
• A genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, TA qualification) are desirable but not essential
