ORTUS RECRUITMENT are seeking an experienced learning support assistant to start after the Easter Holiday in a wonderful mainstream primary school, located in Walworth.

• Position: Learning Support Assistant
• Start Date: April start, full time
• Daily Pay Rate: £80 – £100 PAYE

**Candidates must be able to commit to a long-term and full-time role (Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 16:00)

As a Learning Support Assistant you will be required to assist the class teacher in supporting learners in the classroom and around the school building. This includes, supervising the pupils in the lunch hall, the playground and helping the class teacher dismiss the pupils to their parents/carers at the end of the day. You will need to be confident and comfortable working with SEN pupils and pupils with challenging behaviour. You will be required to lead Literacy and Numeracy interventions to raise attainment.

The school is located in the heart of Walworth, it is easy to commute to as it is close to three different popular underground train stations, as well as having good bus links. The school is Ofsted rated ‘Good’ and boasts a very strong and supportive staff team.
